We are your personal secondhand shopper, with a simple mission: to save time by making reuse simple. We are here to solve a problem a lot of moms experience – want to shop secondhand baby clothes but don’t want to spend the time browsing. We love the meaning of 'to spare' describing our mission. By choosing to reuse, spare time and money, also spare waste to the environment.
What inspires you to spare?
If you have ever bought anything, you have experienced the paradox of choice - too much choice. Has it happened to you that a dozen of browser tabs open later, you forgot what you were originally looking for?
We create a scroll-less shopping experience to buy everyday basics for your baby. Simple, straightforward, and quick. Why? So you can stress less over simple decisions, and put energy on larger decisions. Is it worth all the trouble for something your baby outgrows in a few weeks? Also, if we post picture on every single item online, our cost will increase, and so will the price for clothes. We don’t want that, and we’re sure you don’t either.
We do the hard work to check and curate the clothes. You can simply enjoy the time and money saved.

Being a mom changed my view of time itself. Deep, I know…
But seriously, what happened to ‘me time!?’ It used to be a regular thing, now it’s almost impossible. Time really does fly. Aren’t we all struggle to get more out of our time.
As my daughter grows, my time shrinks and the amount of STUFF at home just piles up. 2020 gave me a chance to reset and rethink. As a family, we changed the way we consume. To put it simply: Buy Less, Do More. We made space in our lives for things that really matter and cut out the stuff that doesn’t.
As a new mom, I was shocked at how quickly babies outgrow their clothes. At the same time, what an unsettling feeling to see clusters of clothes at home. I have used secondhand marketplaces online, both to buy and to sell. But it is too time-consuming for me.
That’s where Spared came in: to solve a problem that I personally have, and to serve other parents. It was born of 3 simple ideas: less hassle, less waste, more focus on the things that matter. We’re moms, but we’re not just moms. Make time for yourself, and let that sparkle inside you shine bright!
